Just a quick fun update, my TV pilot script “The Randoms” has been accepted to the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and is eligible for the grand prize!
The winners wil be announced after the festival. Cross your fingers for me! I’ll keep you updated!

Hey everyone,
We’ve been very busy in post-production the past couple months. So far we have the first 5 scenes cut, which is about 12 minutes of the film. We’ll be making a ton of progress this week and hopefully get the first quarter of the film in rough cut!
We’ve been sharing stills and behind the scenes photos since wrapping production and will continue to do so. We want you to be as excited about the finished film as we are! We even have a fun behind the scenes video planned that will feature some standout moments in our yearlong pre-production process. That should hold you all over until the release of the DVD, which will feature behind the scenes videos from during production!
I’ve also compiled a long list of festivals we intend to submit to and what some of our plans are for the film once we’re out of post. I should be able to share that with you in the coming months!
In the meantime though, we’ve been slowly increasing our following and potential audience by reaching out to blogs and press that can feature us. If you know of any, please do let us know. And we’ve been lucky enough to have press reach out to us! The local paper in Chatham, NY contacted me with interest in featuring Summit on their cover because we shot some scenes in Canaan, NY. It was a wonderful opportunity and my full Q&A can be read here. The actual article came out last week and we’re happy to share it with you. Download the images here and zoom in to read!

Hey Indie Film Community... Listen up!
Just wanted to check in and say "hi" and let you in on something that's kind of a big deal. eginning in June, we're hosting a film series for the NYC Indie Film Community named "IndieWorks." This film series is something Christina has been wanting to do for some time now, and there's never been a better opportunity than the present to kick things off.
Each month we'll select 10 films to feature, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers, and award Audience Choice and Best of Fest awards to the winning shorts. Those winning filmmakers will be featured on video right here discussing their upcoming projects, experiences, and passion for working within the industry. Admission is free, and film submissions are as well.

A couple weeks ago I was interviewed by Katherine Kocijanski of the Chatham Courier, the Hudson-Catskill sponsored local newspaper. The paper took an interest in Summit because we shot some of the film in Canaan. The story was released this week but, unfortunately, the paper is not online. I intend to scan it and share it through the Summit blog.
Remember my blog post a while back about Kelsey’s feature screenplay, About a Donkey, winning Best Comedy at the NY Screenplay Festival last year? Well it just made it to the semi-finals of the L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival and is eligible for the $2,000 grand prize if it moves onto the finals!
This is so exciting for us because we’ve been talking about producing this feature in about two years from now and, if the script continues to get recognition at festivals and “Kelsey” (the web series) gains a following, it’s very likely that we’ll be able to raise the funding to make the film when, where, and how we want! So fingers crossed that the script moves on to the finals. Congratulations to Kelsey!
