Hello Wonderful Backers,

As of today, we've submitted Summit to 5 festivals! Submitting to festivals is always a tough call because you can't predict which ones will be into your film. And at $30-$50 each, you really want to choose wisely. The fact of the matter is we've made a no-budget feature with no-name actors & crew, so the odds of getting into even half of what we submit to is a long-shot. But we have to take that shot because the whole point of making this film is to have an audience for it, right? So we're doing our best to target festivals that we believe will take an interest in Summit and be worth submitting to for the audience-building benefits they offer.

In total, we aim to submit to about 15 festivals, depending on how the film is received by our initial submissions. The earliest we'll hear from any is April, so we still have a while before more exciting (and very likely some disappointing) news. We'll be sure to keep you in the loop!
